This is a tree by a lake by where my Mum lives, we were driving and I had her pull over so I could take a picture of it. The thing is, it's the only tree that loses it's leaves, everything else around it was a pine tree, so we're looking down over this hill just as the sun is setting, and all of these giant pine trees and there's this flaming orangy-red tree. The lake is calm and I've got a camera!!
I did go home and crop it, the sun was just over the tops of the pine trees so I had to fix the contrast and all that crap, I did make the tree a little brighter but not much, not much.
This was the week that my husband and I moved home, before we got our truck with our belongings from FL, and would you belive it snowed two days after this picture? It was so nice to come home and see all of this, it didn't last long, but it was great. Beats those lame ass palm trees that never change colors...or the 'oak trees' that go from green to dead...some fall.
