Yeah, I'm sure by now most of you have probably figured that I've died or been abducted by aliens.
Well, neither, actually.
Josh, my husband, and I moved from Florida to where I grew up, good 'ol Zimmerman Road, Pennsylvania.
Those of you who know me in real life know the story and have seen me a lot in the past 3 years that I've been home.
I really haven't been doing a lot of 'art' these days but a lot of photography.
I am surrounded by constant beauty where I live and my NEW (but not uber elite) camera is constantly on me or within grasp.
I have spent the past 3 summer on Zimmerman Road gardening, cleaning working and swimming.
The closest thing to 'art' or graphics that I've done (because I actually have an associates in graphics) was related to my last job as a recreational events & activities coordinator for the neighboring township. I did fliers, coupons, signs and four pages of the townships quarterly newsletter updating the community on the local events & activities. To date, that was the best job I've EVER had.
Unfortunately, it was a 'contract' job for Americorps and only needed to complete 1700 hours in 12 months.
I'll be posting the photos that I've been taking since I am now in possession of a new camera that I received for my Bday from my hunny!
And as a silly little side note, I submitted my 'Bottled Fairies' to our local fair and received 1st place and Best of Show for it!
The year before that (2006) I received 2nd and 3rd place for two nature shots I took of mushrooms!
